Blackpool Skills Academy is a registered independent school for young people aged 11 to 16. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and aspirational environment where every student is supported to participate, make progress and prepare positively for their next steps.
Our policies reflect the values and expectations at the heart of the School and provide a clear framework for safeguarding, education, behaviour, inclusion, health and safety, governance and the wider operation of Blackpool Skills Academy. They also help ensure that we meet our statutory responsibilities while supporting the personal, social and academic development of our students.

Rooted in practical, real-world application, our curriculum supports both academic progress and vocational development, helping students build the skills, knowledge and confidence they need for future success.
Whether studying construction, hair and beauty, English, maths or personal development, each curriculum plan reflects our commitment to high-quality, personalised education that responds to students' individual needs and prepares them for their next steps.
